Are you Controlled by Spam? – Organic Computing

Ever felt like everywhere you turn these days online you are inundated by spam?

Whether it is on google search results with psychologically-in-tune adverts or on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Google+, you are faced with what seems like a barrage of spam. There is a reason why the multitude of spam has been created but we will get to that.

Historically, we have all had experience with multitudes of spam; via email, pop-ups and generally every corner you turn while online. We are and have been desensitized to spam. Now, whilst all of the ‘mainstream social media’ conglomerates all claim to be on the offensive to rule-out spam and nefarious accounts causing problems, there is a great deal of evidence that they are, in fact, utilizing spam to control propagation of posts, amount of followers that you have and so on; working on the ideal that if they create and control the ‘micro-environment’ that exists around you or your business, they essentially control which businesses make it online and which ones fail.

All you have to do is post something with an obscure hashtag and you will see the algorithm modify results to prevent you from being the sole entry in that hashtag category.

It also works based on social interaction. If you start blocking spam, you will be penalized by receiving more spam. If you leave it, you have a spammed environment anyway. Either way, the algorithm is now tailoring to suit commercial interests and is now, essentially, playing favorites.

There is no more level playing field within the online market. Without paying huge amounts of money to essentially spam the system with automated accounts that generate spam but not violating ‘anti-spamming rules’ on each media platform (which is laughable really and quite paradoxical!) you will most likely never see the light of ‘cyberspace’. Even paying huge amounts will not guarantee your success.

All you need is an account with plenty of memes, emojis and pay for some followers and you will achieve instafame!… if that is what you really want!

Organic Computing Code | Psychology-based Technology | Organic Lifestyle Blog

When defining ‘natural’, or better yet, ‘organic’ computing systems to help control  and stabilise complex and exponentially-expansive data sets or systems, one must consider the method of how the system is used in its entirety as the initial function to counter or contain.

Who uses computing systems? That’s right, We do! For work, for leisure and for social interaction; humans are now more interconnected than ever before. Homo Integrens as David Sukuzi puts it. So why not incorporate human interaction based known-responses and basic psychological principles into the code running any website, database, or digital file?

Whether it be Adwords, Facebook or WordPress, the initiation of psychologically-aware tracking programs have helped shape and ‘customise’ each individuals web experience. It bases its best guess on your previously searched content and metadata collected.

Whatever you type into this massive database we know as the internet, there is now a custom response for you; tailored to suit your interests.

The foreseeable issue that evades most is the obvious legal questions around influence and suggestion. It is a legal question of influencing, aiding and abetting if you will,  those who maybe psychologically weakened; already in a state of depression, sadness and loneliness. A state, or mindset, that every person on this earth deals with.

If these firms are able to control the content that you see, this would also mean that convicted criminals are being ‘matched’ with their preferential viewing content online. This also implies that pedophiles are being shown images of their ‘matched’ content.

As you can see the legal argument is also a moral and ethical one. It is one that needs to be addressed before precedence allows referring to the incredible claim that it was the ‘internet search engine that made me do it’…

What is Organic Computing? The Paradigm Shift for Complex Systems

Wikipedia excerpt- Organic computing is computing that behaves and interacts with humans in an organic manner. The term “organic” is used to describe the system’s behavior, and does not imply that they are constructed from organic materials. It is based on the insight that we will soon be surrounded by large collections of autonomous systems, which are equipped with sensors and actuators, aware of their environment, communicate freely, and organize themselves in order to perform the actions and services that seem to be required.

The goal is to construct such systems as robust, safe, flexible, and trustworthy as possible. In particular, a strong orientation towards human needs as opposed to a pure implementation of the technologically possible seems absolutely central. In order to achieve these goals, our technical systems will have to act more independently, flexibly, and autonomously, i.e. they will have to exhibit lifelike properties. We call such systems “organic”. Hence, an “Organic Computing System” is a technical system which adapts dynamically to exogenous and endogenous change. It is characterized by the properties of self-organization, self-configuration, self-optimization, self-healing, self-protection, self-explaining, and context awareness. It can be seen as an extension of the Autonomic computing vision of IBM.

In a variety of research projects the priority research program SPP 1183 of the German Research Foundation (DFG) addresses fundamental challenges in the design of Organic Computing systems; its objective is a deeper understanding of emergent global behavior in self-organizing systems and the design of specific concepts and tools to support the construction of Organic Computing systems for technical applications.

WordPress now Censoring Bloggers| So much for the Internet Defense League

For the past three weeks, every time a post comes out from the we have 3 people, or ‘parties’ from Google, view our post immediately after posting. Once verified by the “review panel” the post is either promoted on WordPress Reader or it isn’t according to the posts subject matter.

And as we are compiling some hardcore facts about the current state of affairs in the areas organics, diet and health, supplements, biological chemistry and government, there are times when our more contentious posts are being withheld from view.

Thanks for selling out WordPress! Now you censor are just like Facebook and Instagram…

Keep an eye out for version 2.0 on our private server…. try and stop us then!
